Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the fan efficiency and to lower the noise with a simple construction, by providing slanting part of polyurethane foam-like air permeable foaming body by a fixed method at the tip end of tongue-like part of exhaust gas passage.

The slanting part 6 composed of polyurethane foam-like foaming body, is attached so as to be situated at the tip end of the part along the outer circumference of tha fan 1 nearly and to be made nearly the same height to the part 5 at the position of the part 5 slowly rising higher in rotating direction of the fan 1. As a result of it, sound is dispersed by striking the air against the slant of the part 6 and generation of noise is lowered and at the same time, fan efficiency is improved by the sound absorbing effect of the above foaming body.
