Abstract

PURPOSE:To distillate the liquid at good efficiency using a compact apparatus, by alternately installing multiple chambers provided with condensing zone and vapor separating zone and the flash vaporization chambers, within the casing. CONSTITUTION:The solution, being introduced to the hot solution inlet 4 of the first chamber 2a through the solution preheater 19 and the preheated solution feed pipe 26, is moved upward in the vertical heating tube 11 owing to the thermosyphon phenomenon, and is introduced into the vapor separating zone 12; in which, the concentrated hot solution falls down into the reservoir 23 and flows into the concentrated hot solution pool 35 of the flash vaporization chamber 30 through the orifice 25. Meanwhile, the vapor passes through the mist separator 15 and enters the solution preheating zone 32 in common use of the vapor pathway of the next chamber 30, and contacts with the preheating tube 19 and the vertical heating tube 11 of the chamber 2b, and then, the vapor condenses. The vapor being flash vaporized from the concentrated hot solution pool 35 passes the mist separator 37, the pathway 36 and the communicating pipe 41, and enters the solution preheating zone 18 of the next chamber 2, in which the vapor contacts with the tube 19 and condenses. The condensate liquefied at each chamber 2 is taken away from the final chamber 2 through the condensate outlet pipe.
