Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce the railling peak upon replacement so that the prompt and accurate analysis can be made by closing the injection hole at an injector body side with a sliding member when this member is moved and by providing communication between the injection hole at the side of a partition and the outside.
CONSTITUTION: An adaptor flange member 40 has its upper side formed with a sliding groove 44 at a right angle with respect to the axis of a sample injecting hole 42, and a sliding member 52 slides along that groove 44. This sliding member 52 is made of a fluorine-contained resin and is formed with an injecting hole 48 and an air vent hole 50 and with stopping projections 60 at the both ends thereof. When the hole 48 comes into coaxial position with sample injecting holes 42 and 57, the sample is injected through a partition 24. Upon analysis after the sample injection, the sliding member 52 is moved to shut off the hole 42. Since, however, the hole 57 has communication with the outside through the vent hole 50, the residual sample is discharged to the outside so that the tailing peak upon the subsequent analysis can be remarkably reduced.
