Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent the flash of the saturated water in a reserving tank from being transmitted to a detecting tube in a direct manner by providing both a device for removing the bubbles during the flash of saturated water within a liquid level detecting tube and a U-shaped tube for reserving saturated water at a low temperature below the liquid level detecting tube.
CONSTITUTION: A U-shaped pipe 12 is provided at the seat of a liquid level detecting tube 9, and a flash preventing plate 11 (which is constructed by attaching one or more net-shaped or porous plates) is provided at the exit of the detecting tube below the liquid level detecting float 10. This flash preventing plate may be replaced by a throttle mechanism 11b (or 11c). A cold liquid having a high specific gravity and set is reserved in the U-shaped tube 12 to reduce the quantity of the flash of the saturated water of the reserving bath in the detecting tube so that bubbles abruptly rise in the plate 11 thereby to prevent the float from bouncing. Since, moreover, the plate 11 has no resistance, delay in the detection of the variation in the water level can be reduced.
