Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a current feeding system for transport system, in which current is fed to an auxiliary hanger hook via current collectors that are held in contact with respective fixed electrodes in the manner capable of feeding current to articles suspended by the auxiliary hanger hook, whereby it is enabled to apply satisfactory coating, uniform in its thickness, to the article.
CONSTITUTION: Transport system shown in the drawing comprises rail 1 and hangers H carried along the rail 1, which are designed to be rotatable around themselves. The hanger H in turn comprises trolley arm 3 suspended by roller 2 which is driven along rail 1, chain 4 for driving the trolley arm 3 along rail 1, and hanger hooks 6 suspended by the trolley arm 3. Along the track of the transport system, fixed electrodes 7 for feeding current are fixed to respective posts 8 in electrically insulated manner. On the other hand, current collecting auxiliary hanger comprises a fixing plate 13 fixed by the intermediary of insulating material 12 on both sides of the upright portion of conductive seat 11, and conductive resilient members 15, each having a current collector 14 at one end, which are disposed downwardly of the seat 11 for urging the current collectors 14 onto respective fixed electrodes 7.
