Abstract

PURPOSE: To prepare a dirt-removing agent capable of removing dirt from the used dry-cleaning solvent or from the table utensiles, by adding a specific amount of sulfated oil to industrial gasoline or solvent naphtha.
CONSTITUTION: A dirt-removing agent composed of industrial gasoline or solvent naphtha and 10W30 wt% of sulfated oil. When the agent is added to the used dry- cleaning solvent having dark brown color, the mixture separates into two layers, i.e. the clear upper layer and a lower layer composed of sludge and dirt adsorbed thereto. The clear upper layer is free from the dirt, and can be reused as the dry- cleaning solvent.
