Abstract

PURPOSE: To miniaturize radial piston motor as well as make easier its processing and assembly by forming an internal flow path by obtaining good oil pressure balance by making the foot area of piston shoe farger without the necessity for long seal land.
CONSTITUTION: When a pressurized fluid is supplied to the flow path 9' of the valve block 9, it goes to the flow path 10' of the balance piston 10, whereby the balance piston 10 pushes the side 26 of the eccentric cam 2 through the valve plate 11 to keep its oil-tightness. The pressurized fluid is discharged through the aperture of the flow paths to the outside. In this way, each of the pistons 5 is switched in order from intake stroke to exhaust stroke according to the rotation of the eccentric cam axle 2, the piston 5 on the intake side generates the force of rotation, the annular bearing 8 makes a slow rocking movement to keep transmitting torque, and the cam axle 2 continues to rotate in one direction.
