CONSTITUTION:The vacuum tank 3 of the molten steel degassing apparatus is detached from the auxilary apparatus, and is held on the stationary stand 4 of the transporting truck 1 through the cylinder 5. The truck 1 is moved to the repair shop, and the working truck 2 is moved to the outside of the stand 4; on this working truck 2, the repairing jigs such as the waste brick recovery bucket 10, the working stand 11 for building up the furnace, etc., are placed. This truck 2 is moved to the spot under the vacuum tank 3, and at the same time, the repairing jigs are lifted by the forklift 8 to the level covenient for the repairing work and are positioned; and then, the damaged part of the vacuum tank 3 is repaired. Hereupon, by actuating the cylinder 5, the vacuum tank 3 is vertically moved for adjusting the position, so that the repairing work can be easily and safely executed.
