Abstract
PURPOSE: To produce low hydrogen content steel, by blowing gas dried by quick lime into the connecting pipe between the bunker on the alloy iron storage furnace for adding molten steel and the alloy iron feeder to remove moisture from the alloy iron, and adding alloy iron not containing moisture to the molten steel.
CONSTITUTION: Alloy iron such as Fe-Si is added to the molten steel discharged into a ladle 17 after blowing, in order to adjust the composition, from a bunker 4a on the furnace through and electromagnetic feeder for dispensing 3.
