Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a secure blocking of a valve in a device supplying combustible fluid in case the ambient temp. has risen exceeding the prescribed valve by incorporating a shut-off valve which is blocked through a fusible piece being blown.
CONSTITUTION: A rotary valve is provided with a valve box 1 and valve element 2 which is mounted on valve stem 3 equipped with a rotary lever 5 whise another end is connectd with dashpot 6. A valve base 9 is equipped with a stopper 7 in such a way that the rotary lever 5 stops at the position of "blocking" after a turn of 90° from the position of "full open" as well as with a stop lever 8 in such a position that it touches an end of the rotary lever 5 so as to hold the valve element 2 in the fall-open state, and an end of this lever 8 shall be mounted on a mount 13 with a fusible piece 11 interposed. In case the ambient temp. has risen to blow the fusible piece 11, the lever 8 is released, and the rotary lever 5, i.e. valve elemetn 2, of repulsive force of the spiral spring 14 for closing the valve.
