Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a low-cost destaticizer which can eliminate the static electricity in a short time to secure a low potential with less danger by neutralizing the static electricity with use of the unsaturated discharge before generation of the corona discharge.
CONSTITUTION: The positive and negative voltage are generated alternately at DC voltage generator 1 with a fixed time, and this time can be set freely and accordingly with free variation secured for the DC voltage. Electrification cleaner 2 consists of two electrodes 3 and 4, and these two electrodes are located with a fixed distance secured between. Electrode 3 is connected to the output of generator 1 via compensation resistance 5 along with electrode 4 connected directly to the output of generator 1 each to be then connected to the commercial power source via plug 6. With electric conduction given to generator 1, the positive and negative DC voltage are generated alternately. And as a result, the positive and negative unsaturated discharge are given alternately between electrodes 3 and 4 of cleaner 2. When cleaner 2 is put close onto the record disk, the static electricity of the record is neutralized to ensure an assured destaticization in a short time.
