Abstract

PURPOSE: To realize liquid waste matter treating means capable of operating easily at ordinary temperature, by bubbling the liquid waste matter by emulsifying in the presence of slaked lime and hydrogen peroxide, and separating into solid and liquid by floatation method.
CONSTITUTION: Liquid waste matter, after preliminarily removing coarse foreign matter, is supplied into a mixing tank 1 from a liquid waste supply port 14. When slaked lime and hydrogen peroxide are added and mixed while feeding air, the mixture is emulsified and bubbled. Thus emulsified and bubbled liquid waste matter is sent into a floatation tower 2 through a lead-in pipe 6. The floatation tower 2 is intended to separate the emulsified and bubbled liquid waste matter into bubble part and liquid part. The liquid part of the waste matter sent from the mixing tank 1 is discharged through a discharge port 21, while the bubble part is floated and collected on the water surface to be taken out from an overflow port 22 provided in the upper part. The bubble part overflowing from the overflow port 22 is dried by hot air blown in from a bubble dryer 3, and is captured by a cyclone 4.
