Abstract

PURPOSE: To maintain fixed amount of oil supply by fitting caps of plural number at low end of revolving shaft, one over another, and by providing sump, between caps, to collect foreign articles which are separated by centrifugal force of revolving shaft.
CONSTITUTION: Low end of revolving shaft 3 is fitted with inner cap 7 and outer cap 8, each with oil passage opneing 7a, 8a, respectively, at their bottoms, and clearance between inner and outer caps makes sump for foreign articles. When revolving shaft 3 starts operation, oil 6 in tank 5 is centrifugrally rose through oiling opening 4 up to compressor. While operation, any foreign articles 11, entered through oil passage opening 8a, are scattered outward by centrifugal force and are caught at foreign article sump 9. Thus oiling opening 4 is prevented from chalking with foreign articles 11, to maintain amount of oil supply.
