Abstract

PURPOSE: To make an air-core reactor light weighing and also to lower noize by covering the top and bottom ends of the coil parts placed side by side so that the main magnetic fluxes may interlink and by providing with a trapezoidal magnetic shield while making the base to contact therewith.
CONSTITUTION: To fix the trapezoidal magnetic shields to the top and bottom 11 of the coil part 10 consisting of the coils 10A and 10B placed side by side so that the main magnetic fluxes ϕa and ϕb may interlink, while making the respective bese 22 to contact with the main coil part 10 and to fix the coil part 10. Thereby the shield 20 is to be laminated using sheet such as silicon steel plate, permalloy core and the like. By so doing away with the corner part of the shield which is almost non-pervious to a magnetic flux, the use of steel plates will be reduced to a small quantity making it light weighing, and at the same time iron loss and the magnetostriction vibration diminished thus lowering noize.
