Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a hot-melt adhesive with sufficient pot-life, giving high bond strength even at high temperatures, by incorporating in an air-drying polyester an initiator, an accelerator, a photosensitizer, etc.
CONSTITUTION: The objective composition as a hot-melt adhesive can be obtained by incorporating in an air-drying polyester, pref. having tricyclodecene ring, with a softening point of 30W80°C and a melt viscosity of 1W3,000 poises, one or more ingredients selected from (A) pref. 0.005W10 wt% of an initiator (pref. having a half-life≥1 min. at(40°C), e.g., dicumyl peroxide, (B) pref. 0.001W5 wt% of an accelerator (metal soap type) and (C) pref. 0.001W10 wt% of a photosensitizer.
