Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a clear and non-blurred printing of letters, pictures and the like by employing a specific sheet provided with a metal wire embeded in the thickness direction to condact the heat only toward the thickness direction without allowing the heat to be transmitted in the surface direction.
CONSTITUTION: Day 3 is coated on a side of a sheet 2, and the other side is heated up by a heater 1, and whereby the dye 3 is transferred onto a recording paper 4 to print the same. A silicone rubber sheet is adopted for the sheet 2 as a heat insulator, and a metal wire of good conductivity is embeded in the thickness direction. The metal wires are embeded in such a manner that the population thereof are the seme or more than the population of the dots of letters or pictures. The metal wires 5 prevent the heat to spread out toward the surface direction, and conduct the heat only toward the thickness direction, whereby allowing the printing apparatus to make clear and non-blurred letters or pictures.
