Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve accuracy of detection by detecting with a pair of detecting sections an object-to-be-detected set onto a base body displacing relatively to the detecting sections and by measuring a liquid level by calculating 2-value signal with an adding-and-subtracting counter.
CONSTITUTION: Relative positions of a base body 4 and an object-to-be-detected 8 are displaced in accordance with volume of a liquid 1. A pin 7 of an arm 6 connected to a float 3 is fit in a long hole 5 provided on the base body 4. An output of a detecting body 8 equipped with a pair of detecting sections arranged relatively to the base body 4 is added to an indicator 10 through a processing circuit 9. The processing circuit 9 is constituted so that 2-value signal from the detecting body 8 is calculated by an adding-and-subtracting counter. As a liquid level is able to be calculated on digital basis in this mechanism, the detection accuracy can be improved.
