Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent malfunction of control circuits by discriminating the states such as oscillation waveforms, levels, etc. of pulse signals which the control circuits generate and checking the control circuits, sequence operations, etc.
CONSTITUTION: A transistor Q129 goes ON at the oscillation of the pulse signal OSC and ON at the stopping to negatively trigger a timer Q133 and therefore the timer outputs logic "1" by the time T1 component determined by the time constants of a resistance R190 and capacitor C113. The voltage about 15V which has been rectified and smoothed by full wave rectifiers 126, C116 is applied to the Q131 via breaker CB101 and the base of the Q131 is connected to a Zener diode ZD106 and therefore it outputs about +10V. Here, when "1" is outputted from Q133, Q130 goes ON and Q131 goes OFF and therefore +10V is broken and the CPU is reset by the time T1. Thereby, the malfunction of the CPU may be prevented.
