Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain the same effect as that of a rectilineal helicoid system and achieve simpler construction and easier production by providing a longitudinal groove to the stationary lens-barrel, providing a cam groove to a distance operating ring and providing a guide piece to a moving lens frame.
CONSTITUTION: A longitudinal groove 2 is provided to the front of a stationary lens-barrel 1 and a moving lens frame 3 is slidably provided to the inner side thereof. A distance operating ring 5 having a cam groove 6 is turnably provided to the outer side of the lens barrel 1, this ring 5 being defined of the movement in the axial direction by stationary rings 7, 8. The guide piece 4 mounted to the frame 3 is fitted into the longitudinal groove 2 and cam groove 6, and the pin 10 provided to an aperture operating ring 9 engages with the cam operating arm 12 of an aperture device 11, which device 11 is operated by a transmission device 14. When the ring 5 is rotated, the frame 3 moves straightforward and retreats along the guide 2 owing to the mutual action of the grooves 6, 2 and piece 4, whereby distance control is accomplished and the same operation as that of the rectilineal helicoid system lens- barrel accomplished.
