Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve the joint by distributing on the interface and integrating the alloy layer which is formed when contacting the metals having high melting point and performing the resistor point welding under non-reductive environment.
CONSTITUTION: A grid wire 11 composed of high melting point metal such as molybdenum, tungsten, etc. and a support wire 12 composed of molybdenum applied with ruthenium coating layer 7 are contacted, then said portion is resistor point welded under inert gas while ruthenium-molybdenum alloy layer 8 is formed at the interface and welded integrally. When compared with conventional one where platinum ribbons are fixed on both faces, thus obtained transmission power tube member has higher jointing strength, can be made with low cost and the required processing time can be shortened.
