Abstract
PURPOSE: To automatically and intermittently return leakage oil to a main oil tank, by connecting a leakage oil tank to an oil receiver at the top of a hydraulic cylinder through a communication pipe and fitting the leakage oil tank with an U-shaped return pipe whose lower part communicates with the main oil tank.
CONSTITUTION: The oil receiver 19 is provided at the top of the hydraulic cylinder and coupled to the leakage oil tank 20. The U-shaped return pipe 22 is provided in the leakage oil tank 20. The lower part of the return pipe 22 is connected to the main oil tank 16. The oil having leaked into the oil receiver 19 is transferred through the communication pipe 21 and reserved in the leakage oil tank 20. When the level of the oil reaches the top of the U-shaped part 22a of the return part 22, the oil in the leakage oil tank 20 automatically flows out to the main oil tank 16 until a head h becomes zero. Such automatic outflow is repeated whenever the oil in the leakage oil tank makes the head h.
