Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent corrosion of heating pipes by a mechanism wherein a non-condensable gas collecting chamber is provided at a side of pipe-plate and non-condensable gas is effectively discharged thru a gas drawing pipe having gas collecting ports which is connected to the gas collecting chamber.
CONSTITUTION: A non-condensable gas collecting chamber 27 being consisted of a partition plate 26 and a drain cooler 10 is established on the side of a pipe-plate 5. Also, on the chamber 27, a gas drawing pipe 22 is connected, which is extended along the longituidnal direction of the main cylinder body 4 and turning reversely in the midway, is fixed on the partition plate 25 of the drain cooler 10. Gas drawing pipe 22 is supported at an appropriate interval by supporters 8, and is equipped with a plurality of gas collecting ports 28, the diameter thereof are designed to correspond with the volume of non-condensable gas being generated from the vapor passing thru each section partitioned by each supporter 8.
