Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain the title apparatus with high safety which prevents overboiling of hot water within a bath water boiler by the function of a pilot burner by closing a valve for preventing lowering of hot water temp. which interlocks with a cock at the time when the pilot burner and the main burner are extinguished.
CONSTITUTION: Valves 4 for preventing not water temperature from lowering are provided at two places, upper and lower positions on the shaft 5, and at the tip of the shaft 5, a gear 6 which has gear tooth partially, is fixed. On the pulley 10 which interlocks with gas cock 8 thru wire 9, a driving gear 7, provided with gear tooth partially, is fixed which is geared with the gear 6. When the pilot burner is fired, valve 4 for preventing hot water temp. from lowering is opened being interlocked thru the manipulation of the gas cock 8. When the main burner is manipulated for firing and extinguishing, gear 6 is not driven, and the valve 4 for preventing hot water temp. from lowering stays as being fully opened. When the pilot burner extinguishes after the main burner is put out, gear 6 is driven and closes the valve 4 for preventing hot water temp. from lowering.
