Abstract

PURPOSE: To make it possible to adjust the color by varying the phase shifting amount of the variable phase shifter in the PAL system color television set.
CONSTITUTION: This color adjusting device is equipped with the oscillator 3 whose oscillation frequency is an optional frequency, the signal converter 2 which does not invert the carrier color signal of the PAL system at every scanning line of the phase of the color subcarrier of the color difference signal (R-Y) but converts it to the signal which has changed the output signal of the oscillator 3 to the color subcarrier, and the variable phase shifter 4 which inputs the outpt signal of either the oscillator 3 or the converter 2. And the color is adjusted by varying the phase shifting amount of the aforesaid phase shifter 4. Accordingly, the color adjusting function can be added to the PAL system color television set by means of the simple circuit configuration.
