Abstract

PURPOSE: A separator which makes automatic continuous operation possible by providing an opening and closing door at the outside of each entrance and each exit of cassettes and a guide plate for the entrance and the exit of the cassette at the inside thereof, and providing automatic opening and closing lids of the cassettes operated by centrifugal action.
CONSTITUTION: When a cassette 2 is set, an opening and closing door 7 of a cassette entrance is opened by means of a motor 8, passed through a guide plate by means of a delivery rod 11 and received by a gondola-type receiving frame 13. When all cassettes are received and the door 7 is shut, a motor 41 is driven to revolve a central axis 14 at high speed so that suspended liquid within each vessel is centrifugally separated. At this time, each receiving frame 13 suspending in the state of a gondola turns sidways at an angle of 90° by an action of centrifugal force, an opening of the vessel 1 is pressed on a packing plate 21 to shut by means of a lid plate 19 with which each receiving frame 13 is provided so that the inner part of the vessel for centrifugal separation is not affected by air.
