Abstract
PURPOSE:To permit the quantitative measurement of voltage leak without resting on the sence of workers. CONSTITUTION:The leak condition detector 1 consists of the top dead center sensor 10 by which to detect the compressive top dead center position of engine, the signal generating circuit 11 by which to generate two sets of pulse signals synchronized with the top dead center position on the basis of the output of the sensor 11, the high-voltage generating circuit 1 by which to generate high voltage synchronized with the top dead center signal and which is connected electrically to the one end cc1 of the coil code cc through the high-voltage cable 2, the leak signal detection circuit 3 by which to hold the maximum value of high-voltage signals from the circuit 1 in the peak holding circuit (illustration is omitted) synchronously with the top dead center signal of the signal generating circuit 11, the decision circuit 4 by which to compare the output of the circuit 3 with an optionally settable decision level, and the display circuit 5 by which to indicate the results of the decision. Thus, it is possible to detect leak during the cranking drive of engine.
