Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a circulator, which downwardly circulates warm air with a propeller fan, and also with which warm air is circulated over the entire room along the floor by a rectifying vane provided on the discharge side of a fan.
CONSTITUTION: A motor 1 and a fan 2 are mounted in a casing 3, which is hung from a bracket 10 via a hang ring 11, and below the fan 2 a rectifying vane 6 is mounted by a mounting arm 7. The casing 3 is provided in its upper portion with a number of ventilating holes 4, so that with the rotation of the fan 2 warn air in a portion of the room in the neighborhood of the ceiling is withdrawn through the intake holes 4 and rectified through the rectifying vane 6 to be downwardly discharged through a discharge opening 5. Also, to achieve the intended end, the inlet angle α2 of the rectifying vane 6 is set to be close to the discharge angle α2 of the fan 2, while the outlet angle α3 is set to 90°W60°.
