Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable an image of highest density and high sensitivity, and low fog to be formed even after long term storage and to reduce processing temperature dependence, by using a specified benzylidene aminophenyl hydrazone derivative as a foggant. CONSTITUTION:A compound represented by formula I is used in combination with internal latent image type silver halide grains. In formula I, R1 and R3 are each a phenyl group optionally substituted by 1-5C alkyl or alkoxy, halogen or the like, and one or more of them are each phenyl substituted by formula II, morpholino, or piperidino; and R5 and R6 are H, 1-5C alkyl (optionally substituted by OH, alkoxy, cyano, halogen, or phenyl), cyamo, acyl, or sulfonyl.
