Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce the cost of a key memory part on a virtual memory system by storing information low in access frequency in a low-speed memory and that high in access frequency in a high-speed memory.

In comparison with access to reference bit R or modification bit C, access to access control bit ACC is extremely low in frequency.
