PURPOSE:To realize the cost reduction of the switch signal generator between the monaural, stereo and hetero-programs by providing the threshold to the DC output of the frequency detection circuit of the adaptor for the TV multi-sound broad cast reception CONSTITUTION:The control signal is amplified 25 and undergoes limiter amplification 53 to be supplied to frequency detection circuit 54 after passing through BPF25 featuring properties (a) which makes pass through pilot signal frequencies fs and fd of the stereo time and the hetero-program time each. Circuit 54 consists of the phase comparator, the voltage control oscillator and the PLL-type FM detection circuit comprising LPF. And the output of circuit 54 features non-signal in case the monaural broadcast is received since no signal fd exists, and voltage V0 is applied to switch signal generation circuit 56 from DC amplifier circuit 55 to be conncted to circuit 54 to deliver switch signal d1. Owing to the threshold of circuit 55, the voltage lower than V0 and higher than V0 are delivered at the reception time of the hetero-program and stereo broadcast respectively, and then signals d2 and d3 are delivered from circuit 56. As a result, no costly tuning fork type filter is required for separation between signals fs and fd.
