Abstract

With the bent pipe 1 so arranged that the heating combustion gas flows in the direction of the arrows, no resistance acts against the gas flow, and the floating matter in the gas undergoes the influence of gravity at the point where the movement direction of the matter changes from downward to upward and flows down along the inside surface of the pipe 1 into the enclosure 3 through the hole 2. Thus, the matter deposited in the enclosure 3 does not contact the heating combustion gas directly, so that the damage on the pipe 1 due to the combustion of the deposit can be obviated.
