Abstract

PURPOSE: To double the displaying power of a display bar by making the plural quantities of input information, which are ordered in accordance with their values by a single display bar at all times, correspond to their value orders so that the brightnesses of lighting elements are ordered and displayed.
CONSTITUTION: A cathode drive circuit 3 feeds a reset signal to a reset cathode and a clock signal to a display bar 8. An anode drive circuit 6 feeds a lighting signal to the anode of a display panel 7 from a logic circuit 11 thereby to determine the lighting timings. A standard signal generator 4 starts its operation in response to the reset signal to generate and feed a standard voltage signal to a real time signal comparator 5R and a maximum signal comparator 5P. The comparator 5R compares the input signal and standard voltage signal to feed its output signal to the circuit 11 when they are equal. The comparator 5P compares the peak hold signal from a peak hold circuit 10 and the standard voltage signal to feed its output signal to the circuit 11 when they are equal. The circuit 11 transmit either of the two signals to the anode drive circuit 6. A brightness ratio frequency divider 12 determines the brightness ratio between the real value and the maximum.
