Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the productivity and working accuracy and to make it possible to form complex magnetic pattern with the use of a compact construction by forming a plurality of rows of magnetic elements, which are arranged to face magnetoelectric converting elements, on a rotating substrate by the normal print technique.
CONSTITUTION: A disc-shaped rotatable substrate 3 made of a non-magnetic material is fixed to the shaft 2 of a pulse motor 1. The substrate 3 is formed at its one side with two rows of magnetic elements 4 and 5 which are arranged in the two adjacent rows of circumference about the shaft 2 at a preset spacing while being formed with a plurality of magnetic elements 4a and 4b. The molding operation of the magnetic elements 4a and 5a is accomplished in a similar manner to that of a normal print substrate. At the side of the supporting plate 6, which is fixed to the machine frame, which side faces the rotatable substrate 3, on the other hand, two magnetic ressistance elements R1 and R2 acting as magnetoelectric converting elements are arranged to face each other with a fine spacing between the magnetic element rows 4 and 5.
