Abstract

CONSTITUTION: Each of electrode 2a, 2b arranged on both ends of luminous tube 1, confronting each other, is built in such a way that electrode components shall be composed of electrode core 10 made from W etc, inner coil 11 and outer coil 12 wound around this electrode core 10, and electronic radioactive substance 13 is spread and fixed over the coil surface of this electrode component. The avobe electronic radioactive substance 13 should contain rare earth metal oxide, preferably at least one kind among SC2O3, Y2O3, La2O3, Ce2O3, Nd2O3, Sm2O3, Gd2O3, Dy2O3 together with the same rare earth metal as included in this oxide by 10W40wt%, then adhesive affinity to the electrode component shall be remarkably enhanced and separation of electronic radioactive substance shall be well restricted during lighting.
