Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a colorant for polyolefin capable of not deforming molded articles without loss of color tone, by blending A) a composition consisting of an organic pigment and a metallic soap with B) a mixed solution wherein an organosilane compound is dispolved in a liquid surface active agent.
CONSTITUTION: A) 100 parts by wt. of a composition consisting of a) 100 parts by wt. of an organic pigment (e.g., condensed azo compound) and b) 20W150 parts by wt. of a metallic soap or c) a dry color consisting of an organic pigment and a metallic soap is blended with B) 1W100 parts by wt. of a mixed solution by a high-speed mixer at 2,000 RPM for 1W5 minutes. The mixed solution is obtained by blending d) an organosilane compound (preferably γ-aminopropyltrimethoxysilane) with e) a liquid surface active agent in a blending ratio of d) to e) of 2:1W 1:4.
EFFECT: Improved pigment dispersibility in a molded article. A colored molded article free from color unevenness and spots can be obtained.
