Abstract

PURPOSE: To adjust the gelation time easily and to consolidate the soil in a stable gelation time, by gelatinizing a grout mixture comprising a component having a buffer action injected into the soil.
CONSTITUTION: (A) A component having a buffer action is added to (B) a grout mixture of (a) an acid aqueous water glass with an alkali, injected into the ground, and consolidated. The aqueous water glass is a solution which shows a pH<5 by mixing water glass or its aqueous solution with an acid liquid, e.g. sulfuric acid, with vigorous stirring, and the amount is 2wt% or more colcuated as SiO2. Component (A) preferably has a buffer action at pH1W7, and hydrochloric acid and sodium chloride or phosphoric acid and sodium tripolyphosphate may be cited.
