Abstract

PURPOSE: To make it possible to supply a prescribed voltage to a load without switching operation independently of the level of an input voltage by detecting reference voltages for various input voltages and load both-end voltages and comparing them with each other to control a switching transistor.
CONSTITUTION: Switching transistor Tr3 is inserted in series between load 1 and power source part 2. Switch circuit 4 generates fixed reference voltages for various input voltages by Zener diode 11, capacitor 10 and resistance 9; and meanwhile, both-end voltages of load 1 are detected by resistance 21 and output voltage rectification resistance 18, and these voltages are compared with reference voltages to control turning-on and off of switching Tr3, and the output of power source part 2 is supplied to load 1, thereby making the applied voltage of load 1 fixed independently of the input voltage.
