Abstract

PURPOSE: To ensure inter-scroll sealing by slightly increasing the circular orbit radius of the scroll member which revolves more than the maximum permissible radius of another scroll member and elastically supporting another scroll member toward the radial direction.
CONSTITUTION: The distance between the spindle 14 and the crank pin 23, i.e. the circular orbit radius of the scroll member 24 is preset slightly larger than the maximum permissible radius of the scroll member 25 and the scroll member is elastically supported so as to radially move by the annular elastic body 30. This permits the scroll member 25 to radially and elastically change by the circular orbit movement of the scroll member 24, the inner and outer wall surfaces of the swirling body 242 to be firmly pushed on the wall of the adjacent swirling body 252. Even when the wear by rubbing occurs, the contact surface is accustomed to it and the annular elastic body 30 returns to its original state. As a result, the wear after drape is almost eliminated and sealing is accurately ensured.
