Abstract
PURPOSE: To make it possible to measure definitely a slag flow rate by providing a head sufficient to make slag flow section circle at the halfway point of a slag flow passage and then by measuring the diameter of the circle slag flow section.
CONSTITUTION: At the halfway point of shaft furnace duct 2 carrying shaft furnace slag 1 to water crash facility, discontinous level-difference part 3 is provided and around it, image sensor 4, thermometer 5, index-object lancher 6, and detectors 7 and 8 are provided.
