Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a nozzle enables to work under strong wind without increasing carbonic acid gas consumption quantity by surrounding a carbonlc acid gas zone with an air current curtain and preventing the outside air from its intrusion.
CONSTITUTION: Compressed air is sent in a compressed air delivery line 10 from the tangential direction through a brust pipe 12, rotates in a spiral from inside the delivery line 10, blows out slantly outward from a terminal outlet 15, and surrounds a carbonic acid gas zone 18 contained an arc, electrode wire 4, molten metal and the like in one unit with its air current curtain. And the air current film is guided outward along the surface of a welding base material 19 to disperse, however, since the air in shortage is relenished with providing an air replenishing line 11, the gas in the carbonic acid gas zone keeps its stabilized conditions.
