Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve strength, airtightness and corrosion resistance in a brazed joint by adopting an appropriate condition corresponding to Ca quantity contained in Al-Si-Mg group brazing material on the occasion of vacuum brazing process of Al. CONSTITUTION:Skin material 2 is made of a brazing alloy of Al alloy contained Si:6-12% and Mg:0.6-3%, a brazing sheet 3 is organized by it together with core material 1, and is set to stand on a substrate 4. The vacuum degree is arrenged in 5X10<-5> Torr and vacuum brazing process is applied. In the case, the brazing is carried out in the brazing condition in the range shown by the expression in accordance with the Ca contents in the Al-Si-Mg alloy group brazing alloy. A shrinkage cavity and a pit will not take place on the joint after brazing, and its strength, airtightness and corrosion resistance are improved.
