Abstract

PURPOSE: To prepare the title composition having low elastic modulus, high impact resistance and excellent abrasion resistance, and useful as industrial fasteners, noiseless gearwheels, etc., by compounding a specfic elastic copolymer with a block copolyetherester elastomer.
CONSTITUTION: The title resin composition is prepared by mixing (A) 100 parts by weight of polybutylene terephthalate, (B) pref. 5W80 parts of an elastic copolymer containing 40W80wt% of an elastic component and obtained by grafting a vinyl monomer such as styrene to a rubber component comprising an acrylic acid ester having a 1W13C alkyl group, e.g. ethyl acrylate, and (C) pref. 5W80 parts of a copolyetherester elastomer derived from polybutylene terephthalate and poly(tetramethyleneoxide) glycol, at 215W250°C.
