Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide the title composition having excellent moldability and giving a high quality vulcanized product, by blending two kinds of specific ethylene/α-olefin/ polyene copolymer rubbers.
CONSTITUTION: The title composition composed of (A) 5W70 parts by weight of an ethylene/α-olefin/polyene rubber having an intrinsic viscosity [η]A (135°C, decalin) of 0.8W6.0dl/g, an iodine value of 8W50 and an ethylene/α-olefin molar ratio of 50/50W95/5, and (B) 30W95 parts by weight of an ethylene/α-olefin/ polyene copolymer rubber having an intrinsic viscosity [η]B (135°C, decalin) of 0.1W5.0dl/g, a ratio of [η]A/[η]B of ≥1.2, an iodine value of 3W40 and smaller than that of the (A) component by 3W45, and an ethylene/α-olefin molar ratio of 50/50W95/5. The α-olefin is, e.g. propylene, and the polyene is, e.g. 1,4-hexadiene.
