Abstract

PURPOSE: To maintain a valve at a desired degree of opening, by comparing a valve opening degree signal from a thermosensitive means with the desired opening degree to control the heat input to a thermosensitive driver.
CONSTITUTION: A valve driver 11 is located at the upper part of the valve and has a casing 12. A rod 14 is provided in the casing 12 so that the bottom of the rod 14 is in contact with the top of a valve element 8. A contact member 16 is attached to the top of the rod 14. The thermosensitive driver 17, which is expansible due to heat, is attached to the top of the casing 12. A piston rod 20 comes into touch with the contact member 16. The piston rod 20 is protracted when a metal container 18 is heated. A positive-characteristic thermistor 22 is secured with a fixture 23 in contact with the top of the metal container 18 to heat a thermally expansible substance in the container.
