Abstract

PURPOSE:To carry out the switching easily of the communication mode by providing a means for detecting whether the communication mode in the data communication is SYN synchronizing or F synchronizing. CONSTITUTION:The received data enters the shift register 1 and is shifted by one bit and discriminated whether it is SYN synchronizing or F synchronizing by the decoder 2. If the data is F synchronizing, F pattern detect signal 4 is put out from the decoder 2 to make effective the F synchronizing mode transmission control circuit 9b. This is continued until in the received data, F synchronizing mode termination pattern appears and the F synchronizing mode receiver system is reset. In the case of receiving SYN code, SYN detect signal 3 is put out as output from the decoder 2 and SYN code detect signal 3 is put out as output to make effective SYN synchronizing control circuit 9a. This condition is continued until SYN synchronizing code is detected.
