Abstract
PURPOSE: The starting material of paste products is formed and coagulated under heating by irradiating continuously it in the forming jigs with microwaves to give rindless paste products.
CONSTITUTION: Forming jig 2 that is made of a material having high releasability and good dieletric properties as Teflon pipe is fitted in oven box 1 made of electrically conductive material so that the jig 2 is freely detachable and can move through the oven box 1. The starting material of fish or meat paste products is continuously extruded in said jig 2 and at the meantime the jig 2 is irradiated with microwaves from wave guide 7 in the oven and the material is coagulated with heat. The coagulated products are taken out of the bottom of the jig and cut in the prescribed length with cutter 10.
