Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable two layer parisons to be moled with high precision in a single cavity by molding the outer layer parison made of the molten resin between the cavity and the core with built-in cooling means and then molding the inner layer parison after replacing the above core with the injection core. CONSTITUTION:A cavity 1 heated at a predetermined temperature and a core 3 within which cooling water is passed through are clamped together to mold an outer layer parison 14a while injecting the molten resin through a gate 1a. At the innerside of the outer layer parison 14a formed is a skin layer through cooling process. After removing the core 3, an injection core 7 is clamped to the cavity 1 alternately. At this time, a nozzle 6 is touched to a gate provided on a base plate 12 of the injection core 7 and then molten resin is injected into a molding space 15 through a tip of the injection core 7 to mold an inner layer parison 14b including a neck 14c at the innerside of the outerside layer parison 14a. A two layer parisons 14 is removed from the cavity 1 by opening it and then transferred to a cavity 17. After clamping, air is blasted into the space between the injection core 7 and the inner layer parison 14a to expand and thus obtain a hollow molded product 18.
