Abstract

CONSTITUTION: A printing driver 6 executes required printing via ribbon 10 being driven by printing solenoids 11, and simultaneously with transmitting the end signal of the printing, a carriage with a printing head 3 is returned to the left end, a cutter driver 8 is operated by a solenoid 9 to make a knife 7 plunge into the slit 4 of a platen 2 and the printing head is moved to the right end keeping the knife positon. Therefore, recording paper 5 is cut off automatically up and down, then the knife 7 returns, the carriage with the printing head is returned again and the next printing operation is started.
