Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain excellently slidable surface simply by boron-impregnating treatment of shoe and also reduce greatly the weight of compressor by making up swash plate of high-silicone aluminium alloy.
CONSTITUTION: A great reduction of weight of compressor is attained by the use of a high-silicone aluminium alloy, and also as the material of the shoe 9 as the counterpart, a boron-impregnated steel material is used, having a surface easily convertible into more densed surface by honing treatment alone and a hardness the same as or more than that of primary crystal and eutectic silicone present in the swash plate 6 as the counterpart. Thus, it is excellent in slidability, as well as has good wear resistance and baking resistance, giving a light weight and durable compressor.
