Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain similar visual angle balance as in the case of using glass substrate and prevent color unevenness due to visual angle of liquid crystal panel, by using a specified biaxially oriented polyester film in the substrate material for twist nematic mode.
CONSTITUTION: The raw material 1 of polyester film is biaxially oriented in the lateral axial orientation direction 2 and the vertical axial orientation direction 3 which is the flowing direction, and a polyester film 4 of angle of rotation of 0W5° is provided on each end of a polyester film 5 having the angle of rotation of more than 5°. This film 4 is used as the substrate material for sandwiching the liquid crystal of the liquid crystal panel using twist nematic mode.
